EU Space Act

Proposed; under negotiation.

Randeep Bubbra | Lawyer | Making space financeable

The Commission's proposal for a regulation on the safety, resilience and sustainability of space activities would require EU authorisation for space operators, registration for non-EU operators serving the EU, and common rules on collision avoidance, cybersecurity and environmental impact. As proposed it applies from 1 January 2030.
