Questions investors ask

Where do the M&A terms come from?

From the merger and purchase agreements filed on SEC EDGAR, quoted and linked, and checked against the filed document.

What regulatory approvals does a satellite deal need?

Usually the licensing regulator's consent to the transfer of control, such as the FCC's under section 310(d) in the US, plus antitrust and foreign investment review. See the security-by-country table.

How current is the register?

Each record links to the document it comes from and shows its date, and the updates and corrections page lists every change to the register.
